The Department of Metallurgy and Materials (PMT-POLI / USP) has an intense international insertion in the area of scientific and technological research. Students are supported by the Polytechnic School in exchange participation through various agreements and academic cooperation programs with universities in Europe, the Americas and Australia. The programs includes academic internships, internships in laboratories researches, obtaining a double degree and taking advantage from credits from subjects studied abroad. In addition, laboratories and professors of the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering receive students for the exchange, conducting of research and double diploma, guaranteeing access to research laboratories and an updated, dynamic and internationally acclaimed academic curriculum.
